Jeanette Breen, CNM, is a licensed midwife in New York and New Jersey.

Her practice includes: Homebirth, Drug-Free Hospital Birth, Waterbirth, and Well-Woman Care. Total Midwifery Care includes: Prenatal Care, Labor and Birth Management, and Post-Partum Follow-ups. GYN Care and Annual Exams: Breast exams, PAP Smears, Mammogram Referrals, Menopausal Counseling, Contraceptive Advice and Management including Emergency Contraception. Waterbirths are available at home and at Nassau University Medical Center. St. Vincent's Medical Center in NYC offers birthing rooms. Long Island College Hospital in Brooklyn offers an in-hospital birthing center. Jeanette has Staff Privileges at all three hospitals.

Herbs, homeopathics and natural remedies are the primary therapies utilized for health problems. Prescription medication, bloodwork, and diagnostic services can easily be ordered as well.

Office hours are by appointment on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.

Midwifery Care is insurance reimbursable by law in New York State.
GYN Care is selectively reimbursable by some freedom and point of service plans.

Background Information:
Jeanette is a mother of three adult men. Her midwifery training was at Columbia University. After working in Brooklyn Hospital for five years, she opened an independant midwifery practice with an office in Baldwin.
